It's actually not a bridge but a work of art: The concept is that of a bridge
connecting the museum to the rest of the city. Those floating squares in the
pool are not mere decoration: At night, flames leap up from them, occasionally
setting alight any passing carp. (I just made up that last bit. Hope I didn't
offend any carp lovers.)
